OSKALOOSA — In a classroom filled with wires, switches and steady conversation, eighth-grade students at Oskaloosa Middle School worked to guide a robotic snake through an obstacle course. The activity was part of Innovators Quest, a career exploration program introducing students to technical skills through hands-on challenges.
The program, supported locally by Musco Lighting, is designed to expose students to areas such as robotics, electrical work and collaboration before they begin making formal decisions about careers. Innovators Quest is organized into four themed “realms,” each focused on a different set of skills.
