In addition, she was involved in Warren’s drama club as backstage help, a former member of choir, a teacher’s assistant, and a 4-H camp counselor.

Through College Credit Plus, Greathouse has earned or will earn credits in English composition, American national government, college algebra, technical writing, psychology, physics, accounting, and statistics.

She is receiving technical focus and learning skills for creating & editing digital graphics, design techniques, information technology, multimedia & image management techniques, and video & sound.

Graphic Design & Video Production instructor Chris Palmer commented, “Hannah is a great student and an even better person. She always puts forth her best effort and is a joy to have in class.”

Greathouse is employed with Route 60 Coffee as a barista and social media and marketing manager. She plans to attend Ohio University to obtain a bachelor’s degree in marketing.

Garvin is a Fort Frye senior enrolled in the Fire/EMS program, and he is the son of Mike Garvin of Beverly and Valerie Drayer of Marietta.

During his junior year, he was enrolled in the Medical College prep program.

Garvin is a member of the Career Center’s SkillsUSA youth organization, national technical honor society (NTHS), and is class vice president of his technical program.

He has received awards for the Career Center’s principal list, honor roll, and the December 2024 winner for an excellent work ethic of Coffee to Go With the SRO.

At Fort Frye, he is active in the color guard and was a member of students against violence everywhere (SAVE) club and the national youth advisory board for Sandy Hook.

Garvin is taking course offerings and learning skills for foundations for firefighting and emergency medical services, emergency medical technician, fire fighter I, and fire fighter II.

He has or will earn industrial certifications for emergency medical technician, state-tested nursing assistant, automated external defibrillator, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, first aid, and stop the bleed.

He has or will earn college credit plus for introduction to nutrition, medical terminology, English composition, statistics, American national government, and psychology.

Mathematics instructor Betsy Schramm commented, “Brody is an exemplary student and a hard worker. He is very kind to others.”

Garvin is currently employed at Muskingum Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Beverly as an STNA. Upon graduation, he plans to attend Bowling Green State University to obtain a degree in flight technology and operation.
