For the third time in the last five years, South Oak Cliff is celebrating a Texas high school football state championship. The Golden Bears, No. 44 in the latest High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football, beat No. 72 Richmond Randle 35-19 for the 5A Division II state championship at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys.
Mikail Trotter scored three touchdowns for SOC, who avenged last year’s championship game to Randle.
