Woodridge board approves routine business
CUYAHOGA FALLS — The Woodridge Local Schools Board of Education approved several routine items during a special meeting July 29, which took the place of the normal monthly meeting.
The board approved an agreement with Northampton Bible Church for the 2025-26 school year to use two classrooms for the district’s preschool program. The agreement states the district will pay $750 monthly to use the space.
In other business, the board approved:
• the annual coalition membership dues and annual EDChoice voucher litigation dues with the Ohio Coalition for Equity and Adequacy of School Funding for fiscal year 2025-26 at a cost not to exceed $2 per enrolled student;
• an agreement with Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority for use of space at Maplewood Gardens, 500 Hardman Drive, for the 2025-26 school year;
• an agreement with the Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio for visually impaired student services for the 2025-26 school year;
• an agreement with Steps Educational Group for the 2025-26 school year;
• The University of Akron Affiliation Agreement;
• the Club & Activities Advisor Handbook and Clubs & Activities Student Handbook for the 2025-26 school year; and
• the Parent & Student Transportation Handbook 2025-26 school year.
The next regular board meeting is set for Aug. 19 at 6 p.m. in the library at Woodridge High School, 4440 Quick Road. A recording of the meeting will be posted the next day with a link available at www.woodridge.k12.oh.us.
