The Vermont Italian Cultural Association is accepting applications for its grant program.
The program provides up to $1,500 in funding to three individuals seeking to broaden their knowledge of Italian culture, according to a community announcement. This could include exploring the Italian American experience, Italian language, arts, music, food, history or any aspect of Italian culture.
The grant program is funded through individual donations, annual fundraising and a portion of annual membership dues.
Recipients are asked to share their experiences at association-hosted events for the broader community. Information about recent recipients and their projects, and applications, can be found on the Vermont Italian Cultural Association website.
Grant program is an important part of Vermont Italian Cultural Association mission
“The grant program is an important part of our mission,” said association president Lisa DeNatale. “For some recipients, it may be the first opportunity to explore the richness of Italian culture in pursuit of personal interests and passions. VICA members and the greater Vermont community can then learn from and enjoy the wonderful presentations and performances of the recipients.”
Applications are being accepted through March 1, 2026.
The Vermont Italian Cultural Association is dedicated to preserving and promoting Italian culture in Vermont. It’s open to anyone interested in Italian culture, arts, language, history and other aspects of Italian civilization.
Membership is open to all
Basic annual membership levels include a family rate of $50, individual rate for $40 and student rate of $15 (full-time college student under 26.) As a member, you will receive news about exclusive sponsored events as well as information about Italian cultural opportunities in Vermont.
