TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Public Schools board of education approved a three-year contract extension for Superintendent Dr. Ebony Johnson.
TPS said the board approved the extension during its executive meeting on Nov. 17.
In 2020, Dr. Johnson was named TPS’s Chief Academic Officer. She was named the Superintendent of TPS in 2023 after months of serving as the interim.
