Since retiring after the 2022 season, Tom Brady has quickly become one of the premier faces in sports media at Fox Sports, serving as a color commentator for NFL games.
Now, he’ll be joined by another NFL legend—and longtime competitor—Drew Brees, who was recently announced as one of Fox’s newest hires. Brees will start calling games on Nov. 16 alongside play-by-play analyst Adam Amin.
“I appreciate the opportunity FOX has given me in the booth and with their team,” said Brees. “I hope my passion for this game is reflected in the knowledge and insights I provide to the fans each Sunday.”
Shortly after the network made the announcement public on Friday, Brady chimed in on social media:
“And just like that I become the 3rd most accurate QB at Fox Sports. (Terry still has both of us beat.) Welcome to the family, Drew Brees!!!!”

Brees retired from the NFL following the 2020 season, which concluded with a postseason loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, led by Tom Brady.
Brady went on to win his seventh Lombardi Trophy that season and played two more years with the Buccaneers before retiring after a first-round playoff exit to the Dallas Cowboys.

Since retiring, Brees briefly worked as a game analyst for NBC Sports and appeared weekly on ESPN’s “First Take,” but he reportedly stepped away from those roles after accepting his new position with Fox Sports.
