Hundreds of people gathered outside the Capitol Saturday to celebrate Black culture in Harrisburg during the first ever Juneteenth Parade.
“To our ancestors, you guide and nurture us through the words and stories you gifted us,” Kimeka Campbell said to the crowd at the onset of the parade. “To our community, thank you. Thank you for entrusting us with the Juneteenth vision.”
