LANCASTER, Wis. (WKOW) — Winskill Elementary School teamed up with the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Huff Innovation Center to create innovative physical education equipment.
Physical education teacher Doug Bradley worked with Dr. Tim Swenson and students in his class, titled Practicum in Adapted PE. They designed and 3D printed “The Puncher”. “The Puncher” is a device that attaches to chairs and walkers to help project objects like balls and hockey pucks.
Winskill student Dempsey Bahl was the first to use the device and played a key role in its development.
