Every year, we release our definitive list of financial services’ Ideal Employers. This year is no different, and while JPMorgan was crowned once more as finance’s Ideal Employer, we never just look at the data from afar. We also like to get into the nitty gritty of it, and see what the best employers are – not just the most popular.
To that end, we ask respondents to our survey to rate their chosen employers out of ten for a number of a number of objective statements. For the statements below, the highest collective score named an employer the Ideal Employer for Wellbeing:
- This company cares about employees’ mental and physical health.
- This company is good for flexible working.
The 2025 Ideal Employer for Wellbeing is Binance. This is the ideal employer that they believe offers the best overall quality of life.
Binance is a fintech and cryptocurrency exchange which offers remote work for many of its roles. Binance’s website also notes that it offers “flexible working hours” specifically. The firm also offers employees health insurance, free language classes, and “relocation support”. Not only does Binance eschew headquarters, but also footprints.
Ranking behind Binance, Standard & Poors (S&P) was voted second for wellbeing. A ratings agency and market intelligence provider, S&P employs 42,000 people. S&P Global’s website notes that its health insurance plan reimburses fitness and wellness activities and offers 24/7 mental health support. It also says that remote working comes “standard” with employment.
Third-place Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) scored particularly well on the statement regarding its care for employees’ health. The largest listed company in Australia, CBA has offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, New York, and London among others. CBA employs 55,000 people globally.
