Tamron Hall is celebrating a major career achievement, and she’s opening up about it online.
On January 12, nominations for the 2026 NAACP Image Awards were released to the public online. The awards are set to air on February 28, 2026 at 8 p.m. ET on BET, and Tamron’s popular daytime series The Tamron Hall Show was one of the many projects that received accolades with a nomination for Outstanding Talk Series. What’s more, fans can vote for select award categories by heading to the NAACP’s official website through February 7.
Tamron had to go on Instagram to share the news with her followers, along with her thoughts on the major milestone.
“Today was not just a good day. It was great,” she wrote in the caption alongside the video. “Thank you @naacp for our nomination @tamronhallshow. Congratulations to all the nominees—what a 2026 class!”
When fans realized that The Tamron Hall Show was being recognized for their presence on TV at the NAACP Image Awards, many had to express their excitement in the comments.
“This is sooo good! Truly excited for all of you! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾,” one person wrote in the comments. “This is awesome! Congratulations! 🤗🎊🎉👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽,” another agreed. “Congratulations!!!!! This Harlem girl LOVE LOVE LOVES you since your beginnings. Well deserved! 🙏🏾,” a different follower added.
Now, for those curious, this isn’t the only time The Tamron Hall Show has been recognized for its TV contribution by the NAACP Image Awards.
Every year since the series debuted on ABC in 2019, The Tamron Hall Show has been nominated for Outstanding Talk Series. And as far as Tamron receiving her own praise for hosting the show, she was nominated for Outstanding Host in a Talk or News/Information back in 2024.
