KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Western Michigan University’s spring 2025 career fairs kick off Tuesday, Feb. 4, bringing together hundreds of employers poised to hire top talent for full-time, part-time, co-op and internship roles. These free events are open to the public but are tailored for college students and recent graduates ready to launch or level-up their careers.
Employers have posted jobs to the online career site Handshake. WMU’s Career and Student Employment Services and the Zhang Career Center offer advising and resources year-round to help students prepare for interviews and refine their resumes. Students with questions regarding resumes, cover letters, activating their Handshake account or navigating any job search resources can work with well-trained student career ambassadors by visiting any of the four drop-in locations. Drop-in advice sessions typically take between 10 and 20 minutes.
- WMU Student Center, The Source on the second floor, Mondays through Thursdays from 1 to 4 p.m.
- Floyd Hall, outside Parkview Café entrance: Wednesdays from noon to 3 p.m. and Thursdays from 2:30 to 4 p.m.
