A female Southeastern Louisiana University student died in her room at a residence hall, university officials announced Sunday night.
Authorities determined foul play was not involved in the death of the student
— who university officials did not name Monday morning — University President William S. Wainwright said in a message.
“I know this will come as a shock to many of us, and we will make every effort to help our students, staff and faculty cope with this tremendous loss. Please do not hesitate to reach out in this trying time,” Wainwright said in his message.
No other information was released.
