SIOUX COUNTY, I.A. (Dakota News Now) – Sheriff Jamie Van Voorst has officially signed off for the last time at the Sioux County Police Department.
In a video shared by the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page, Sheriff Van Voorst went 10-42 (end of watch) for the final time. The radio call was answered by law enforcement across Sioux County and other agencies.
One of those voices was Van Voorst’s son, who answered the final call.
