The City Blocks Wellness Center, in collaboration with the Selma CEAL Team and Live HealthSmart Alabama, in partnership with the city of Selma, will hold the Selma Annual Community Wellness Fair on Saturday, May 31 in downtown Selma.
The event will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at City Blocks Wellness Center, 300 Broad Street.
This free, public event will bring together local vendors, health providers and wellness advocates to create a vibrant community gathering focused on Food is Medicine, Exercise is Medicine, health, healing and holistic well-being.
The health fair will feature free health screenings, live Tai Chi and line dancing sessions, a farmers market, food demonstration, wellness coaches, and family-friendly activities and giveaways.
The event will be held in the heart of the city, with designated street closures to accommodate vendors and activity zones. Community members are encouraged to attend and explore services and resources that support healthier living.
“This fair is not just about information — it’s about building connections, energizing our community, and making wellness accessible to all,” said Dr. Rose Irby Wilkins, founder/president director of City Blocks Wellness Center, Inc., and lead organizer.
Local organizations interested in participating as vendors or volunteers are invited to contact City Blocks Wellness Center at 334-431-5352 for more information.
