Book signing with local author
LEE — “Bedrock: The Making of a Public Garden,” is a love letter from a woman to the extensive garden she spent 40 years creating. Jill Nooney, a psychotherapist and graduate of the Radcliffe Seminars Program in Landscape Design, and her husband Bob Munger, a physician, developed their 30 acres in Lee, NH into an unforgettable garden. The new book tells the multi-decade story of their journey from private oasis to public garden.

Over 300, full-color photographs are featured in “Bedrock,” the author’s first book. Images of plants, beautifully composed garden vignettes, Nooney’s unique sculptures, water features, and built structures accompany stories of bringing home trees on planes, ferreting out rare plant material, and chasing leads to locate sculpture materials.
Nooney will be signing copies of her new book on March 16, at Water Street Bookstore in Exeter. Books may be pre-ordered at the garden’s website, bedrockgardens.org.
