HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Hawaii High School Athletic Association unveiled its 2025 class for the Hall of Honor.
Twelve student athletes from around the state will join a select group of Hawaii high school athletic standouts.
Inductees will also receive a $2,000 scholarship from Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
The dozen soon-to-be inducted members were selected by an independent selection committee comprised of media members, coaches and individuals close to high school athletics.
The 2025 class is headlined by athletes who excelled in their respective sport or sports.
Jaron Keawe Sagapolutele had a standout career with the Campbell Sabers football team, among his accolades is laying claim to the all-time State passing record.
From the basketball court is four-sport athlete Pupu Sepulona of Saint Louis School. Sepulona was a force for the Crusaders basketball, volleyball and football teams, helping each to State Championships during his time on Kalaepohaku.
The class also features Kamehameha Kapalama volleyball standout Kainoa Wade who helped the Warriors to their first State title since 2011 as a Junior.
Wade left the top of the hill a year early to enroll at the University of Hawaii where he was a reserve player this season, helping UH to the NCAA Championship semifinals.
The class will officially be inducted on Sunday, June 1, during the annual awards banquet.
