The festival’s name, Rayènari, comes from the Rarámuri (Tarahumara) language, meaning “sun,” symbolizing the source of life and creative energy. The event was hosted in partnership with the City of Sunland Park, UTEP’s Department of Art, and EPCC’s Art and Philosophy Departments.
