We’re continuing to host one specific discussion on gameday discussion over on the ‘THE FEED’. For the Las Vegas Raiders’ Week 3 matchup against the Washington Commanders, the topic will be Ashton Jeanty’s touches.
There has been a lot of talk about the No. 6 overall pick’s underwhelming production so far, as he’s accumulated just 81 yards and one touchdown in his first two games. On that note, how infrequently Jeanty has been getting the ball has been a significant talking point, especially after only getting 11 carries last week against the Los Angeles Chargers. The running back even spoke about it during a recent press conference.
The question is: Will offensive coordinator Chip Kelly and the Raiders’ coaching staff listen and make an adjustment? That’s what we’ll be discussing during Sunday’s game, as well as how he’s being used (i.e. outside runs, red zone carries, etc). I’m sure the offensive line will be mentioned a few times, too!

Additionally, Jeanty will be facing an interesting matchup against linebacker Bobby Wagner, in a classic battle between a young up-and-comer and a wily veteran who is a future Hall of Famer. So, that will be something to monitor on gameday as well.
The Raiders and Commanders will kick off at 10:00 a.m. PST on Fox (check your local listings) this Sunday, and head over to THE FEED if you’re interested in joining this live conversation. I look forward to talkin’ some ball with y’all!
