Florida Polytechnic University in Lakeland ranks eighth in the nation for top career outcomes for its graduates in WalletHub’s newly released 2025 Best Universities Ranking. Among public institutions, Florida Poly ranked No.1 in the country, the school said in a news release.
The recognition placed Florida Poly among such institutions as Cal Tech, Georgetown University and Duke University.
WalletHub ranked Florida Poly second in Florida and No. 34 nationally for best cost and financing. More than 700 universities were compared across 30 key measures to determine which schools offer top-notch education at the most reasonable price.
In a separate ranking, Research.com recently named Florida Poly the most popular computer science degree program in Florida.
Meanwhile, Florida Trend magazine included Florida Poly President Devin Stephenson on the Florida 500, an annual list recognizing the state’s most influential executives.
