Crescent City native Charlene Moreau Hazen brought her husband, Chris Hazen, back home from California, seeking to experience the idyllic New Orleans lifestyle. It was a pleasant surprise when they found everything they wanted — in a new-construction Uptown home. Its design was inspired by a four-bay Greek Revival Creole townhouse, complete with cast-iron balustrades. See the full story here.

The sofa in the light-filled main living area came from Arhaus, and the stunning burled walnut cocktail table designed by John-Richard of Greenwood, Mississippi for Horchow. Chris Hazen brought the upright grand Yahama piano from his parents’ house in L.A. On the wall is an image by local photographer Frank Relle of a bayou landscape.
