Pasco School District is offering a unique chance for aspiring Special Education teachers with their new residency program. This year-long, fully paid opportunity is open to anyone with a bachelor’s degree, providing salary, benefits, and mentorship.
PASCO, Wash. – The Pasco School District is launching a unique opportunity for aspiring Special Education teachers through a partnership with the Washington Education Association and Pasco Association of Educators.
This year-long, fully paid teacher residency program is open to PSD staff, community members and anyone with a bachelor’s degree, even if they don’t have a teaching certificate. Participants will receive a salary, benefits, mentorship and hands-on classroom experience.
Information nights are scheduled for April 22, June 4, and Aug. 28 from 4:15 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Pasco Association of Educators, located at 500 N. 20th Ave.
Applications are accepted from April 15 to Sept. 15. Upon completion, participants will receive a conditional job offer and start on the BA + 90 salary scale.
