The OKC Thunder announced Sunday, Oct. 19, that it exercised its third-year contract option on Nikola Topić and its fourth-year option on Cason Wallace for the 2026-27 season.
Topić is the former 12th overall pick in the 2024 draft, and he has yet to make his NBA debut. The 20-year-old guard missed all of last season due to a partially torn ACL in his left knee. He then underwent a surgical procedure on Oct. 6 and will be re-evaluated sometime between Nov. 3-17.

Wallace is the former 10th pick in the 2023 draft. The 21-year-old guard earned a spot on the All-Rookie second team two seasons ago, and he averaged career highs of 8.4 points and 3.4 rebounds as a sophomore last season.
OKC will begin the 2025-26 season with a home game against the Houston Rockets at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday (NBC). It’ll also be ring night for the reigning champion Thunder.
