Hair-growth supplement company Nutrafol has named Powers PR as its consumer lifestyle agency.
The New York-based firm is leading media relations for the brand as well as experiential moments and creative partnerships, according to Powers PR founder Lana Powers.
“Nutrafol isn’t just a leader in hair health — it’s a science-backed innovator redefining how we approach hair thinning, menopause, acne-prone skin, and overall wellness,” Powers said in a LinkedIn post Tuesday. “At Powers, we partner with brands that move industries forward, and Nutrafol is doing just that.”
Powers PR declined to comment further on the agency appointment.
Budget information was not disclosed.
In April 2024, Nutrafol brought on Small Girls PR for media relations and brand communications support.
Nutrafol and Small Girls PR did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the status of the partnership.
Nutrafol is a hair wellness company founded in 2014 and headquartered in New York. Unilever Global acquired a majority stake in the company in 2022.
Powers PR is a boutique PR agency headquartered in New York. In 2024, the firm was named the PR AOR for inclusive makeup brand Live Tinted, coffee chain Gregorys Coffee and fitness platform SotoMethod.
Additional clients in Powers’ portfolio include Chelsea Piers Fitness and wellness space Sage + Sound, Squeeze, fitness program Pvolve, Little Spoon and digital platform Form by Sami Clarke.
