TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Sixth graders at Topeka’s Pauline South Intermediate School search for their calling with help from industry professionals and leaders.
Friday, May 2, was Career Day at Pauline. Each class rotated into different rooms every 30 minutes to learn from a nurse, civil engineer, architect, forensic investigator, contractor, and a golf course manager about their careers for the next generation.
13 NEWS Eric Ives was even there to teach students the field of photojournalism and reporting, and the sixth-grade classes helped 13 NEWS by recording some video of the event for us.
