A new campaign is encouraging residents to embrace healthier lifestyles.
Launched by Feel Good Suffolk, the ‘Feel Good Vibes’ campaign aims to support people across the county in making positive changes such as stopping smoking, managing their weight, and becoming more active.
The campaign offers free guidance from trained advisers and highlights resources available through the Feel Good Suffolk website.
Stuart Keeble, Suffolk’s director of public health, said: “The new Feel Good Vibes campaign is about encouraging people to take steps to feel better and healthier this summer, with our supportive team available to provide expert advice and help.
“We know the immediate benefits that can come from small changes – leading to big differences to someone’s quality of life.
“We also know how much of a challenge it can be, for example, to quit smoking, which is why Feel Good Suffolk is here to help people every step of the way.
“If you live in Suffolk and are finding it hard to quit smoking, lose weight, or be more active, you’re not alone, and Feel Good Suffolk is here to help.”
The service, launched in 2023, has already supported thousands of people across the county.
Lowestoft resident Victoria, who attended a stop smoking group, said: “Our group leader is amazing.
“You know you can talk to her about different ways you’re going to give up smoking and, if something doesn’t work, you can go back and try something else.
“I have had health problems, and this is the one thing I can take control over.
“You just keep going and persevering, and it makes you feel so much better.”
Between January 2024 and June 2025, more than 1,600 people in Suffolk quit smoking with support from Feel Good Suffolk, and more than 3,000 people received help managing their weight.
