The University of Arkansas–Fort Smith will host its Fall 2025 All-Majors Career Fair from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Oct. 29 in the Reynolds Room of the Smith-Pendergraft Campus Center.
The event will connect UAFS students and alumni with regional and national employers, graduate schools and community organizations representing industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, education, finance, public service and technology. Attendees will have access to opportunities for internships, part-time jobs and full-time employment across all academic disciplines.
“We are excited for our Fall All-Majors Career Fair and the opportunity it brings for students to build their professional network and interact with local and regional employers,” said Susan Krafft, executive director of the Babb Center for Career Services. “The job market is tough right now, so we want to give our students every advantage we can to find a great part-time job, internship or full-time position after graduation.”
The fair caps off a semester of workshops and networking events hosted by the Babb Center, including sessions on resume and cover letter writing, interview techniques, elevator speech development, professionalism and employer meet-and-greets. Earlier this fall, UAFS also hosted industry-specific career fairs, including the Accounting & Finance Meet the Firms event, the STEM Majors Career Fair, and the Graduate School Fair.
The spring semester will feature additional targeted events, including the Criminal Justice Career Fair, the Health Career Fair presented by Baptist Health and the Education Career Fair.
To help students prepare, the university will hold its annual SUIT UP event from 3 to 6 p.m. Oct. 26 at JCPenney in Central Mall. The event offers exclusive discounts on professional attire for UAFS students, alumni, faculty and staff.
ArcBest/ArcBest Technologies presents the All-Majors Career Fair. The platinum sponsor is Rheem, and the gold sponsors are CED/Consolidated Electrical Distributors, 1st Employment, Arvest Bank, and Choctaw Nation.
