MISSOULA, Mont. — The Missoula Downtown Foundation is now accepting applications for its Downtown Arts & Culture Impact Grants.
These grants aim to support the cultural, artistic, and economic uniqueness of downtown Missoula by funding improvements to physical spaces.
Officials emphasize that projects should ideally benefit future generations, partner artists with places, and involve downtown property owners.
Projects must be completed within six months of grant approval.
“The whole idea of them is to create some place making and beautiful murals downtown so people want to come down and enjoy everything that downtown has to offer. So it’s really all about place making, alley activation, and making this place better for everyone to live,” said Jack Hall, finance director of the Downtown Missoula Partnership.
