MADISON (WKOW) — The Madison Metropolitan School District has decided to close Tuesday, January 21 because of the extremely cold temperatures.
Many other districts are also closed. You can find the full list here.
27 Storm Track Meteorologists say much of southern Wisconsin will be under an Extreme Cold Warning from midnight to 9 a.m. Tuesday.
MMSD says school will not be in session Tuesday and all after-school activities are canceled. Early childhood and 4K programming are also canceled, as well as athletic events, practices and school co-curricular activities.
MMSD says this will be a traditional weather-related closure, not an at-home learning day.
