MIAMI — A new exhibition in Liberty City is spotlighting Miami’s Black culture and community through bold visuals and powerful storytelling.
It’s the latest work from a Miami artist known for using public spaces to spark conversation.
Inside One United Bank, the new “Still We Rise” exhibition features work by Addonis Parker, a Miami-born muralist and restorationist whose large scale murals and mixed media art focuses on identity, history and empowerment.
“Whoever represents righteousness, those are my people and I draw from them. I draw from their energy, concerns and worries and also mine — and I build a message.”
Parker’s studio inside the bank features 10 original debit card signs, all created in partnership with the nation’s largest Black-owned bank.
