Lexi Wood has been very open about her career as a model on Summer House Season 9, including how her family plays a main role in her trajectory. Additionally, Lexi previously revealed that she is coming out with her own lingerie collaboration. During a recent interview with The Daily Dish, Lexi shared more details about what’s in store for the lingerie line.
“I’m gonna be shooting the campaign in May. I’m so excited because I feel like creative direction is exactly where my heart lies and where I can really flourish, so I’m so excited,” she stated of her collaboration with Hanky Panky. “I’m honestly just so excited for people to feel confident, how I feel confident wearing these pieces, and for everybody to see it and get their hands on it. I’ve honestly been so particular with the fabrics, all the way down to how the clasps and how it feels on your skin, and not just for my body type, but for everyone’s body type.”
Lexi concluded about the forthcoming launch: “I am just so excited for everyone to really get their hands on it and to be able to launch it and just have a party where we can all celebrate feeling sexy in our skin.”
Lexi Wood reveals more details about her lingerie line
On the March 25 episode of her podcast, 6&9, Lexi shared more details about the lingerie line.
“The collection was honestly inspired by so many amazing women in my life,” she explained. “For me, wearing lingerie has been such a staple in my confidence. Like, I’ll wear lingerie under a tracksuit to go to the grocery store. No one even knows that I have it on. But I do it for me.”
Lexi Wood shares her career aspirations
Further in conversation, Lexi shared something she’d love to achieve in the future in her modeling career.
“I would love to do Sports Illustrated. I grew up picking up those magazines because it’s where women can really be themselves and feel so sexy and kind of like my mantra with my hanky panky collaboration,” she shared with us.
“I’ve always said: being sexy isn’t a body type, it’s just an energy that you exude, and I feel like for me, that was always so strong in the messaging behind Sports Illustrated as well, so that’s always been a huge career goal and now that I’m one of the girls of summer,” she shared. “I feel like it would just be an authentic collaboration at this point.”
