The news anchor revealed she will star on a new series called That Thrifting Show, set to air in March 2026 on Freeform and Hulu.

Good news, Lara Spencer fans! The news anchor has a new project on her hands… and folks can see it sooner than they think.
Over the last few months, the Good Morning America star has been teasing a new project. Well, Lara decided to share some news about her next gig: a new design competition series slated to air on Freeform and Hulu.
Titled That Thrifting Show, Lara dropped on Instagram on January 12 that the series will premiere sometime in March 2026. What’s more, she couldn’t be more excited to show people what she has in store for her new TV series.
“My new thrifting/design competition show launches in 2 months on @freeform and @hulu (cannot wait and think you will LOVE That Thrifting Show),” she wrote in the caption. “But I do it in real life every week with my design partner Lisa—hunting for gorgeous treasures for our booth LeTigre Collection at @fairfieldcountyantiquedesign. 50 separate design/antique dealers open 7 days a week.”
Fans couldn’t get enough of the news.
“We are seated and ready,” one person wrote in the comments. “Can’t wait can’t wait!!” another cheered. “Sooo awesome! Can’t wait for the show!” a different follower added.
Now, for those who don’t know, this isn’t the first time Lara has starred on a lifestyle show outside of GMA. She was previously the face of Flea Market Flip, which aired on HGTV for 14 seasons from 2012 to 2019. What’s more, Lara won a 2017 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lifestyle Program, thanks to working on Flea Market Flip.
And for those wondering what That Thrifting Show will be about, a September 2025 article from Freeform’s official website gave a description.
“In the 12-episode series, vintage design expert Lara Spencer presents two designer duos with identical rooms,” the statement read. “With limited time and budget, teams must treasure hunt for vintage and thrift store finds to design their way to beautiful, layered, finished rooms. It’s style and sustainability in a race against the clock.”
