On Tuesday, the Lake Mills school district community will consider renewing the voted Physical Plant and Equipment Levy for the district.
“Like most Iowa school districts, we have had the benefit of this critical levy for many years,” said Lake Mills Community School District Board of Education President Ryan Joynt. “If the voted PPEL is renewed in November, we plan on using the funds for things like building maintenance, roof repairs, equipment purchases, student technology, buses, and heating, ventilation and air conditioning. These are items that the district cannot cover through its regular operational budget alone.”
