Jefferson County Public Schools won’t be changing its start times next school year.JCPS board members voted to keep the current start times on Tuesday. All but one board member was in favor of keeping start times the same except new board member Tricia Lister.Outgoing Superintendent Marty Pollio cited concerns of how another shift in scheduling could impact bus transportation.All schools will start at 7:30 a.m., 8:30 a.m., or 9:30 a.m. for the 2025-26 school year.The first day of school for JCPS students next year is Aug. 7.
