A pair of pop-punk stars join forces on a new tune as In Her Own Words collabs with Young Culture on the song “House Party.” It’s one of three fresh tracks from IHOW on Thriller Records.
“’House Party’ is a fun, bouncy song about wanting to stay in and have fun at home while everyone else is out partying, but with an unexpected twist in the end,” In Her Own Words lead vocalist Joey Fleming says.
“House Party” follows the band’s release of “Story of Us” and “Beg For More.” The trio of tunes racked up more than half a million streams.
“Story Of Us’ is a song about feeling torn between decisions and the mental gymnastics you go through during an on-again off-again relationship, even though you know in the back of your mind what the outcome is going to be at the end of it all,” Fleming says.
Each of the three new tracks showcases an different element of In Her Own Words, but the addition of Young Culture singer Alex Magnan elevates “House Party” to a new level. The chemistry between these bands is clear. Can we get a show together please?
