TRAVERSE CITY — Impact100 Traverse City is set to hold its inaugural iLearn event on Jan. 30 featuring a panel of local arts leaders who will discuss the region’s current state of the arts.
According to a Jan. 27 news release, the iLearn session will be hosted by the Impact100 Traverse City Arts & Culture Committee from 5-7 p.m. Jan. 30 in the Janis Room of the Dennos Museum Center at 1410 College Drive.
The panel of local arts leaders will include:
- Craig Hadley, Executive Director and Chief Curator of the Dennos Museum Center (Host)
- Kristi Wodek, Vice President of Crooked Tree Arts Center
- Chad Lindsey, Executive Director of the City Opera House
- Katie Jones, Executive Director of the Garden Theater
Panelists will cover issues including the challenges their organizations face in the region, how arts programming and administration have changed since the pandemic, how the arts build strong community connections and success stories from investing in the arts.
“iLearn is an opportunity for the community and Impact100 TC members to learn more about some of the challenges nonprofits face,” says Karin Jacobson, head of the Impact100 Traverse City Arts & Culture Committee. “Hopefully, the additional information iLearn sessions provide will help Impact100 TC members to make more informed decisions when it comes to awarding grants.”
Attendees can also enjoy light refreshments.
