To the Editor:
I agree with the Kentucky transplant. All the beautiful, rolling horse pastures have been traded for traffic jams. The peaceful lifestyle is gone, along with affordable living. Florida insurance prices have risen ten times more than the national average in just the past five years, and property taxes have more than doubled in just over ten years.
You could get a year pass for Silver Springs and Wild Waters for $60, and that included concerts too. A lot of concerts.
Now, all that is gone and you can’t afford to park at a state park.
Roads are not growing to keep up with the growing population, nor are the doctors. Yes, it has gotten pretty sad here.
