HOLMEN, Wis (WKBT) — Folks in Holmen are getting a little taste of Scandinavia.
The Holmen Area Community Center hosted its “Holmen Get Together” on Frida night, highlighting Scandinavian “Koselig”.
Koselig, a Norwegian concept, is about getting through the seasons with each other. Each season, “Holmen Get Together” celebrates something different.
“Last year we celebrated a Springtime in Paris. In the summer, we did Summertime Blues. It’s about bonding,” Executive Director Robin Moses said.
Folks also got try Scandinavian foods like meatballs and Norwegian and Swedish pastries.
