LA CROSSE (WKBT) — Local high school students explored career options at the Western Technical College Career and Education Expo Monday.
The La Crosse Center hosted approximately 2000 students from 30 area high schools.
Students attended a brief orientation before breaking into groups to discuss career fields they are interested in.
Attendees were encouraged to ask questions and explore available opportunities.
“It’s really cool to see what different things they have, I like to go around, because I don’t really have an idea of what I want to do or where I want to go. So, it’s kind of cool to see the different places and what they have,” said Onalaska Lutheran student Emma Kolp.
Students could also visit booths with representatives from higher education and the military.
