NEWARK, Calif. (KGO) — ABC7@7’s new segment Local Love puts the spotlight on local businesses and events making a difference in the Bay Area.
We want to spread the local love by talking about Lumpia Fest. It’s also timely since May is Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.
Lumpia Fest was held Saturday, May 10 in NewPark Mall in Newark.
Samantha Larot, owner of Aquarian Plants, and Joanne Gutierrez, owner of Sushi Obsession, joined ABC7@7 to talk Lumpia Fest, its Harajuku inspiration and the funds they’re raising for victims of the tragic attack in Vancouver.
