Hagerstown Community College is hosting its annual clothing drive.
The Career Development Services office is collecting clean, lightly worn professional clothing and accessories for students preparing for internships and employment opportunities, according to a community announcement.
The drive will continue through March 31, 2026. Acceptable items include jackets, shirts, blouses, skirts, dresses, pants, suits, shoes, ties, scarves and jewelry/accessories.
Donation collection boxes are at several locations in Hagerstown, including the HCC Main Campus at 11400 Robinwood Drive, the Administration & Student Affairs Building, Career Programs Building, Kepler Education Center and Student Center.
Other locations include Meritus Main Hospital Entrance at 11116 Medical Campus Road and Washington County Public Schools at 10435 Downsville Pike.
Since 2018, the Career Closet has served an average of 200 students annually. Students with the WCPS Marshall Street School Job Development Program assist in coordinating the event.
