Gloucester County school districts have begun calling for closures and delayed openings for Thursday due to a nasty ice storm expected to hit the state starting Wednesday night.
The National Weather Service has issued winter weather advisories for all 21 counties with the exception of Jersey Shore towns.
While snowfall accumulations are expected to be an inch or less, the primary concern is the potential for a treacherous coating of ice by early Thursday.
The following school districts have made schedule changes for Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025:
