FREEPORT, Ill. (WIFR) – The Freeport Eagles Club provides older adults with information and resources at the Senior Lifestyle Expo.
The free event took place from 9 a.m. – noon Oct. 24 at the Freeport Eagles Club, and was organized by the Senior Resource Center.

- Lifelong Education/Travel
“In Stephenson and Jo Daviess counties, we’ve got some of the highest percentages of seniors in the state of Illinois. And so it becomes very important then to have the support structure so people can try to maintain their independence as long as possible and their wellbeing,” says Ann Marie Walker, Marketing Coordinator for the Senior Resource Center.
Attendees also received free health screenings.
