CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A lot of insightful minds over at the Sinton High School hosting their career fair there at the new campus.
Students had the chance to hear from nearly 40 different employers.
Thursday’s visit members from our 3NEWS team were in attendance our Leslie Adami and Josh Maxwell went to talk with students about all things reporting for KIII.
While the students shared with 3NEWS why they are looking into a career in communications and gave it a shot on the mic.
“When I graduate high school I plan to go to college maybe for majoring in communications for journalism,” said Sinton Sophomore Jillian De La Cruz.
“I was a very curious kid when I was a baby so I just stay curious about stuff,” said Sinton Junior Marisol Rios.
3NEWS asked Sinton Junior Atreyu Hernandez about his future career choices he said, “I’m still iffy if I wanna become either a News Broadcaster, or Real Estate Agent… just interested in seeing where life will take me.”
Reece Ellis a only just a Freshman at Sinton but she already knows why she wants to go the communications route.
“It’s a very good personality trait to have and being confident in your talking and it can get you a long way in life.”
Then 3NEWS asked what work the Sinton students are going do to achieve their dreams.
De La Cruz said, “Work hard and talk everyday!” and Hernandez said “To keep my grades up and to excel in college.”
Another dream job that a lot of students at Sinton have us a Sportscaster!
So who knows maybe 3NEWS will see some of those faces on the Blitz one day.
