During the 2025 WNBA season, Indiana Fever superstar guard Caitlin Clark suffered through a rough year. Injuries completely derailed her second professional campaign and Clark was only able to play in 13 total games.
Unfortunately, the Fever saw many more injuries complicate their bid to win a WNBA championship.
While the injury adversity was much more than their fair share, the team still made an impressive run. They came up just short of making the WNBA Finals, but there is a lot to be excited about in Indiana moving forward.

Of course, fans are already looking forward to next season. Having Clark back on the court will be a dream come true for Fever fans.
With that being said, Clark has received some major news during the WNBA offseason.
As shared by NBA Central on X, Clark has been named to the USA Women’s National Team training camp roster. She is joined by many of the elite players around the WNBA.
Clark deserves any recognition that she gets. After such a rough WNBA season, seeing her get back on the court and play basketball again will be a joy for any true lover of women’s basketball.
Throughout the course of the 2025 WNBA season in 13 games, Clark averaged 16.5 points, 8.8 assists, five rebounds, and 1.6 steals per game. Those numbers were down a bit from the 19.2 points, 8.4 assists, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.3 steals she averaged during her rookie season in 2024.
Where she really struggled were her shooting percentages. Last season, she shot 36.7 percent from the floor and 27.9 percent from three-point range. As a rookie, she shot 41.7 percent and 34.4 percent from deep.

It will be interesting to see how Clark looks in her return to the court. There will be a lot of anticipation from basketball fans.
Hopefully, she is able to stay healthy moving forward and can stay on the court both through the offseason and into the 2026 WNBA season. If she is able to get back to being her normal self, the Fever are going to be a serious championship contender next year.
