A major Ozarks construction company is under new ownership.
Lifestyle Contractors has been bought out by a new ownership group led by the company’s current president, Steve White. White has been president of Lifestyle Contractors for the last two years and closed the deal on Tuesday, Oct. 1.
The new company will be called Granite Construction Group.
Lifestyle Contractors had been the largest general contractor by volume in the Tri-Lakes region, including a significant footprint in the residential and nightly-rental construction sectors.
Current projects include the $85 million Tall Timbers Camp development in Hollister, Kimberling Crossing Condominiums in Kimberling City, and Branson’s Sherman Williams paint store. Past projects include North Branson Business Park, Sienna Estates, and Wilderness Mountain Lodges.
White said in a statement he feels the company is “well-positioned for growth.” White, who has over 25 years experience in project management, estimating and cost analysis, plans to have the company grow its market share in commercial and government work.
The new company’s physical offices will be located at 125 Warehouse Drive, Suite B in Branson.
