CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WEAU) – The Chippewa Falls School District sent a message to families Tuesday about the retirement of the current Superintendent Jeff Holmes.
I am writing to share that after 23 mostly fulfilling years as a public school administrator, I will be retiring at the close of the 2025-26 school year. I wanted to inform our community well in advance to ensure a thoughtful transition of leadership.
Education today faces unique challenges-from enrollment shifts to funding uncertainties and evolving educational needs. Finding the right leader to guide our school district through these complexities requires time and careful consideration.
My experience has shown that providing ample notice allows for meaningful community input and a seamless transition that prioritizes educational continuity for your children. This timeline gives our Board the opportunity to conduct a thorough search for a leader who will honor our traditions while bringing fresh perspectives to our educational mission.
I remain deeply committed to serving our students and families throughout the coming year.
