CHICO, Calf. – The students at Fair View High School in Chico are all sporting new custom hoodies thanks to a donation from Chico Mayor Kasey Reynolds.
On Thursday, the mayor and her team of elves put together the gift bags, and surprised the students with the gift of custom school hoodies. Mayor Reynolds said some kids started crying when they received the unexpected gift. Reynolds wanted to recognize the students in the leadership program.
A Fair View student created the design used on the sweatshirts The program director is Kevin McCay, who said they have an amazing group of young people at the alternative high school and these sweatshirts give them a way to share their pride in the program.
