FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – The Allen County Republican Party held a celebration of life Saturday to honor the life and legacy of Charlie Kirk.
The service follows the death of the conservative activist who was shot in the neck at a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University earlier this month.

The celebration of life began at 12 p.m. EST in Fort Wayne with pastor Paul Mowery presiding over the service.
Several guest speakers, including Indiana Republican Party Chair Lana Keesling, spoke during the event.
The celebration of life happens ahead of Kirk’s funeral, which will be held in the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, at 11 a.m. MST on Sunday, September 21.
