Buellton’s Arts and Culture Committee, in coordination with the Buellton City Council, continues its newest large-scale community art project themed “Exploring the Ocean” in downtown Buellton.
The committee put out a call for artists of all ages to send in their ocean drawings, and received submissions from over 80 local artists, aged five to 80. With those selected, the collection of art was made into banners that are now on display throughout the city streets of Buellton.
September’s featured art is sponsored by Face in Water: Swimming and Water Safety Education and includes artwork by Terra Federlein, Vienna Greenfield, Kristine Kelly, Reagan Cram, Grayson V. Huu, & Benjamin Ibarra.

Each month over the coming year, a different design will be showcased under the current theme, featuring creations by local contributing artists.
The project is made possible by Buellton’s Art & Culture Program, the California Nature Art Museum (a nonprofit partner), monthly sponsorships, and with support from the Buellton community.
